BSCTA Elections

In May 2019, the 3 year terms of the four current BSCTA officers will expire (see below).  All four of these officers must officially declare their candidacy and follow the attached election guidelines in order to run again.  
 
CURRENT BSCTA OFFICERS:
Mike Krieger (MS)-President
Peter Southworth (HS)-1st Vice President
Christina Mendolia (HS)-2nd Vice President
Gale Falconer (MGC)-Secretary/Treasurer
 
If you are interested in running for one of these elected positions, you will need to submit your name, building, and position of interest to the BSCTA Office using the form attached below.  Furthermore, as per our BSCTA Constitution and Bylaws, if you are interested in running, you will receive a petition that needs to be signed by 20% of our active membership (106 names).   Following the submission of all paperwork, you will be asked to complete a biography that will be posted on our website and emailed out to the rank and file prior to the election.   Please peruse the information attached below, which defines the roles and responsibilities of each elected position, eligibility/nomination requirements, and the specific election procedures. The deadline to declare your candidacy and submit your petition is Friday, March 29, 2019.  
 
If there is a contested election, the voting will take place in each building on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 and the winners commence their term of office on May 31, 2019. If the election is uncontested, the three year term for each officer will also commence on Friday, May 31, 2019.
