In an effort to promote the positives of our great public school system here on Long  Island, the Public Relations committee of the Long Island Presidents Council has invested in a digital, radio and Pandora ad campaign to encourage people to support their schools this Tuesday, May 19.
The new website longislandteachers.org was just launched and some Bay Shore Teachers are showcased their as well. The digital banner images that you see below have been targeted in key districts that have pierced the cap, geared toward specialized target demographics. You may notice the two educators in the ad, Fifth Avenue's Michelle Stowers who teaches 1st grade and is our New Member Coordinator and Special Ed Teacher Jennifer Leinz.  The radio ad was recorded by Wayne White of the Bellport Teachers Association and Amanda Mayr from the Hicksville Congress of Teachers right here in Bay Shore at the UCOMM Communications office on Main Street. The radio ads are running on WALK, KJOY, B103, The Shark, WBAB and WBLI. Visit the website today to take a listen and share on your social networks!
