Our attendance at Bay Shore Board of Education meetings is essential. It reminds the Board and the community of our presence and commitment to the children we teach. In order to increase attendance at these meetings, we have found that it is best to assign each building a meeting date. We have tried to avoid conflicts and consecutive attendance at required school evening events wherever possible.
Please make every possible effort to attend at least one of the meetings listed below. Whether it's being present for the presentation of a valedictorian you taught to read, or clapping for a colleague receiving tenure, your attendance sends an important message.
Public session starts at 8:00 pm in the Bay Shore High School Little Theater on the dates listed below. Please wear Bay Shore attire if possible. We generally sit to the right (facing forward). You will not be expected to be involved much more than being present and possibly clapping.
